Barn_Metal_Doors.JPG (71028 bytes) We really liked the metal doors on the first barn we saw.  They are lighter than the wooden ones and they let in lots of light with the windows at the top.
Barn_Brick_Bottom.JPG (53606 bytes) On this barn, we liked the brick along the bottom.  We are going to put the same shingles on the barn as the house so we would also like to put the same brick we use for the house on the bottom of the barn.
Barn_Cupola.JPG (27283 bytes) I have always wanted a horse weather vane on top of the cupola.
Barn_Porch.JPG (47162 bytes) They had a really pretty porch alongside this barn.
Barn_Small_Paddock.JPG (68639 bytes) This shows the wooden doors that are the other option.
Barn_Small_Paddock2.JPG (48197 bytes) My favorite thing about this barn was actually that it had a very small paddock around the back.  This is very handy to keep a horse in for a short period of time right after you wash it or perhaps waiting for the farrier.  I am definitely going to include this in my pasture layout.
Barn_Stall.JPG (58160 bytes) This is an example of the stalls.  Instead of a window in the back, our stalls will have another door that will lead out into the run-in.

Wait a minute!  This is bigger and nicer than my office at work!  AND, it has a window.

Barn_Tack_Room.JPG (55599 bytes) Chris is looking perplexed about something.  The door to the tack room is right behind him.
Barn_Wooden_Doors.JPG (61010 bytes) Our stall doors will look very similar to these.  However, there will be a v-shaped portion in the upper door that I can remove so Dumbledore will be able to hang his head out and look up and down the aisleway.
